Hi Everyone, just an update on negotiations, they have been schedule for March 29, 2011. As you may know I am the negotiator for our local. I will update you as soon as I can.
Michele Brookins, Linda Green, Valentina Chubb, Dawn Imes, Danielle Gibson and myself attended the AFSCME 13 Women's Conference over the weekend and learn lots! Conferences are always exhausting but well worth it.
On Thursday evening at the District Council 89 meeting we learned that increasing full dues paying members is important at this time. With Public Employees under attack from every side, the more members we have the stronger we are in our battles.
